The ability to split the atom has been one of mankind's greatest achievements. And those who are following the exploits of our great scientists and technicians from all over the world already know that just less than a month ago, physicists from the University of Zurich have discovered a previously unknown particle composed of three quarks in the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) particle accelerator. I wonder what other particles are hiding behind these particles that was just discovered, and what other particles are hiding behind the particles that are yet to be discovered. What would be the implications of these discoveries to Earth’s population at large? Will there be a paradigm shift? Will it change the way we look at ourselves and the way we treat our neighbor? Can it make us stop killing each other in the name of religion, political ideologies, and the color of our skin? Or are we just discovering a new kind of atomic bomb, another tool to annihilate ourselves. "Veil upon veil they look, but veil upon veil they find." says Buddha as paraphrased by the late Manly P. Hall, a 33rd Degree Freemason. Can we really find our divinity by endlessly trying to discover the hidden mysteries of nature and science? Or should we just stop and settle our differences first before we journey into the unknown as one. But how?
